Check-In Procedures
On Wednesday before our playday, each sign-up member will receive the pairings for the Thursday golf play day. Pairings are done by the golf app, Golf Genius, and not by any member of the golf board.
-
If you need to be added or removed from the playlist please use your Golf Genius app to make the selection or contact the Tournament Chair, Melissa Wilkins @ 303-330-9659, by Wednesday 6pm .
-
Since scoring is done in Golf Genius, it is important that you play in the group to which you are assigned.
-
Please check in at LEAST 30 minutes before your tee time. Please be aware that changes can occur after the pairings are sent out..
-
Your group should make every effort to play 9 holes in 2 hours, so watch your time, pick your ball up at double par and keep the group in front of you in sight! See Guidelines and Standing Rules for further info on pace of play.
Procedures for Keeping Score
-
Please assign duties to individuals in your playing group: paper scorecard, Golf Genius, Time Keeper and Rules . Each member of your group should have their own score card on a LG/LN/LP day. Add for Gross, subtract HCP for Net, compare Gross to Golf Genius totals and turn in at Pro Desk.
-
Max number of strokes is Double Par. Pick up your ball when you reach this number (e.g., 6, 8, 10). If you have reached double par without holeing the ball put an X in the number of putts.
-
If you make a par or birdie or have a chip in, circle that score on your scorecard. If you have a Chip-in please write this on the card and note the hole number.
-
At the end of the round, each player must check their paper scorecard against their posted scores in Golf Genius. Sign your card and place your card in the “9-hole basket” located in the pro shop. If there is a difference between the paper scorecard and Golf Genius, your round may not be included in our statistics for EOY prizes and updated to GHIN.
-
Our Pro or a tournament chair will be available to answer any questions regarding checking your final score.
